For this interior in Rosmalen, our Desert Design was chosen in a size of 300 × 200 cm.

The rug forms the foundation of the dining area and, with its calm tones and organic pattern, complements the materials and colors in the room beautifully. It visually brings the dining table, chairs, and built-in bench together without being overly prominent.

For this project, the colors and dimensions were tailored to the interior.

Project M.E. 1

For this home in Brabant, a rug from our Avant-Garde collection was chosen, executed in a size of 350 × 330 cm.

The rug is placed in the seating area and brings the various pieces of furniture and materials in the room together. The greyed tones are interspersed with subtle color accents, which blend well with the wood, light upholstery, and greenery in the interior.

Due to its generous size, the rug creates a cohesive look with the seating area, while the pattern adds a bit more character to the calm foundation of the interior.

“We were looking for a rug that would make the seating area feel like a cohesive whole, while at the same time adding some color and character to the room. This version was the perfect fit.”

For the study within this project, a hand-loomed bamboo silk rug was chosen, executed in a size of 260 × 168 cm.

The rounded shape follows the layout of the desk and fits beautifully within the light space. The calm colour tone and subtle sheen of the bamboo silk complement the dark wood of the desk and the other materials in the interior.

Project M.E. 3

For this cinema room, a generous version of our Concrete Edge carpet measuring 550 × 300 cm was chosen.

The large, centrally placed sofa sits entirely on the carpet, creating a calm, cohesive look in the room. It is precisely because of its size that the carpet plays such an important role here: it softens the space and visually brings the sofa, coffee table, and surrounding materials together.

The light, mottled texture contrasts beautifully with the dark walls and wood, without the carpet becoming too dominant.

“The size of the rug was essential here. Because the sofa sits completely on the rug, it creates a sense of calm and cohesion in the entire room.”

U-Parkhotel hotel lobby

For the lobby of the U-Parkhotel in Enschede, two different carpets were used, each tailored to a specific area of the room.

In the first seating area, there is an Indo Tibetan carpet measuring 200 × 350 cm. Its graphic pattern and warm earth tones add depth to this bright section of the lobby and complement the soft, rounded shapes of the furniture beautifully.

For the second area, a Tipshare Design measuring 300 × 200 cm in an organic kidney shape was chosen. Here, the calm color and unique shape follow the casual arrangement of the armchairs and small tables.

Although the two carpets are clearly distinct from one another, their matching soft and natural tones ensure that the various parts of the lobby remain cohesive.

“We wanted to give each of the different seating areas its own character without losing the sense of tranquility in the lobby. The two rugs are very different, but it is precisely because of this that they each reinforce their own space.”

Housing project

For this home in Weert, a Concrete Edge rug was chosen, fully custom-made for the space.

The organic shape follows the layout of the sofa and aligns with the lines of the interior. This gives the rug a natural place in the room and creates a cohesive whole together with the large sofa and coffee tables.

The warm grey and taupe tones complement the upholstery and the calm foundation of the interior, while the rug's texture adds extra depth.

“The shape of the rug was just as important to us as the color. By having it made entirely to measure, it follows the room and the sofa arrangement perfectly.''
