Beige as a base, turquoise as an accent: Gabbeh Zagros 02738 brings a fresh colour palette to a rug tradition that is best known for its earth tones. It is hand-knotted from wool in an authentic manner by experienced artisans.
The name Zagros refers to the mountain range in western Iran. Gabbeh rugs have traditionally been knotted there with a simple, honest design. This piece features such lines, making it right at home among our striped rugs.
Measuring 248 x 193 cm, this is a lovely size for a seating area, under a coffee table with the sofa on one side. The turquoise looks beautiful alongside light oak furniture, white linen and brass. A few cushions in the same blue-green shade connect the rug with the rest of the room.
