Colours of Autumn evokes the image of an autumnal landscape, although the colours of this Kashkuli rug are strikingly muted: beige and grey, soft and tranquil. This makes it suitable for almost any interior, from rustic to sleekly modern.
The rug is hand-knotted by nomads in southwestern Iran. Wool has been used and it is very finely knotted, which gives the rug a long lifespan. Kashkulis are currently considered among the most finely knotted rugs.
At 246 x 173 cm, this is a fine size for under a coffee table and a seating area. Place a cognac leather or rust-brown fabric sofa next to it, and the autumnal name gains its warm colour after all. This rug belongs to our masterpieces.
