1. Authentic Almirah cabinet – India (1900 – 1920)
This original old Almirah cabinet comes from Rajasthan, India. The cabinet was made by local furniture makers from acacia wood. The natural and muted colors give the cabinet a vintage look. What makes this cabinet so special is that the cabinet doors with wood carving come from an old monastery in Rajasthan. In those days, it was common for doors and shutters from old palaces, monasteries, and temples to be given a second life as cabinet doors. The cabinet was discovered by Raymond Koreman and fits into any interior, from modern to classic.

2. Black Chinese Wedding Cabinet – China (1900 – 1920)
Chinese wedding cabinets are popular among lovers of Chinese furniture. Koreman has several pieces in its store-showroom, such as this one from the Shandong region. During a search for exclusive furniture across China, we found this piece and shipped it to Koreman in Maastricht. The cabinet is a traditional wedding gift and, with its metal plates – when the cabinet doors are closed – symbolizes the closed marriage. The cabinet is perfectly lacquered (no less than 6 layers!) and has no cracks or sticking drawers.

3. Decorative old Chinese dresser (1900 – 1920)
This dresser is a showpiece from our collection of Oriental furniture from the Shanxi region of China. The hand-painted panels are authentic and marked by time. The dresser is unique and antique but still functions perfectly. Koreman's Chinese furniture looks great in any interior. In fact, they draw attention, and then you usually hear: "Wow, what is this? 4. Large, red Chinese cabinet from China, Shandong (1900 – 1920)
An antique cabinet that you cannot overlook. This cabinet is a striking appearance in any interior. The characteristic red color is typical of the Chinese furniture industry of a century ago. The dimensions are 95 x 45 x 179 cm (w x d x h). This cabinet may have received 6 to 8 natural lacquer layers during its restoration by Chinese craftsmen, which contributes to its exclusive appearance. 5. Elegant, red Chinese sidetable (1900 – 1920)
This is a real gem. In pristine condition and beautifully lacquered. 100 years old but eternally modern. This handmade sidetable comes from Jiangsu, China, and is 123 cm wide, 86 cm high, and 35 cm deep. The sidetable loves attention and is definitely not a wallflower. It looks great in a sleek and contemporary interior but also in a more classic setting. 6. Old dresser from Jodhpur, India (1930 – 1940)
Koreman not only has beautiful dressers from China in its collection. This showpiece from India will also enrich your interior. The dresser is made from old temple doors. The acacia wood is extremely sturdy, and the colors are reminiscent of copper rust. The dresser has ample storage space, and the doors still open and close perfectly. 8. Old Damchiya chest from India (1890 – 1900)
This chest from the state of Rajasthan is a chest with a story. A Damchiya is a 'hope chest'. A wedding gift for a bride in which she could store and keep all her valuables received at the wedding. The Damchiya chest was a traditional gift from the bride's parents. This chest, which is in Koreman's showroom, is a beautiful example. Very detailed wood carvings and beautifully colored elements and drawings. The size of this beautiful hope chest is 125 x 64 x 119 cm (w x d x h). Is this something for you?

9. Old chest from Jaipur, India (1900 – 1910)
This antique chest is a special piece because of its faded colors and fittings. Its vintage appearance means this chest fits into many modern interiors. A unique feature of this chest is that it stands on legs, which is not often seen. An Indian chest like this can serve perfectly as a coffee table in a contemporary interior. The size of the Indian chest is 66 x 137 x 50 cm (w x l x h). The chest is made of panels that probably had another purpose previously. The chest is in good condition and functions like new.
